BEST PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE

TO CLAIM THAT SANTIAGO CALATRAVA'S AUDITORIUM IN THE CITY OF SCIENCES & ARTS, IN VALENCIA, SPAIN IS A MASTERPIECE, FOR ME IS SOMEWHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT. CALATRAVA'S CONNECTION WITH NATURE IS QUITE INTERESTING. SEEN HERE, HIS INSPIRATION FOR A LARGE SCALE BUILDING COMING FROM THE FORM OF A FISH, PLACED IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONCRETE LANDSCAPE AND COMBINED WITH BREATHTAKING ENGINEERING (CALATRAVA HOLDS A DOUBLE DEGREE IN BOTH ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING) IS AN EXAMPLE OF AMAZING ARCHITECTURE.
